La Dolce Vita
Posted on April 19,2009.Setting aside Rapiers: Twin Fangs as of the moment, I just finished writing the first draft of my entry for this certain book writing contest.
In total, it was almost 46,000 words. Of course I’ll have to edit it myself. I know myself enough to have lapses, tons of it. It might take me a month or two to finish editing it. I'd like to submit my full entry by June. Up until now, I still can't believe it. Good thing the contest I joined to allowed partial submissions and its deadline is around August.
I still can't make a decision whether to send my entry "au naturelle" or have it edited by another person. Then again, if I have it edited by another person, it's like cheating. I think I know what to do now. I need to find a willing person (victim) who'll want to read my contest entry and get their initial reaction so I could know what parts to work on. In my opinion, La Dolce Vita, the title of my contest entry, is a gross super-gay science fiction. Any volunteers?
